Alta Mountain - Wenatchee National Forest

[4feet]: Another amazing backpacking experience in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest (Rachel Lake, Rampart Lakes, Lila Lakes, and breathtaking Mount Alta peak + swimming in Kachess Lakes) 4 lakes and 1 peak. Almost perfect except the extremely strong wind (katabatic wind) in the evening shoved the sand into the tent in Rampart Lakes. We moved the tent three times and worried that the evil wind may crush the tent poles. Total of 18 miles and 4000 ft elevation gain. 08/29 - 08/30/2020
